Timeless Wardrobe Suggestions.
To make these scenes timeless, focus on elements that aren't tied to a specific era. Avoid logos or writing on clothing to keep the attention on your child's expression. ( Dots are good color schemes to follow )
Foundation & Base Layers for Girls (Ages 6–16)
To ensure your child’s portraits feel timeless and effortless, we recommend bringing a few simple foundation pieces. These small details help garments fit properly, move beautifully, and photograph cleanly under studio lighting.
Neutral Undergarments
Please pack nude or skin-tone undergarments that work with the selected wardrobe pieces. Avoid bright colors, bold prints, or heavy lace, as they can show through softer fabrics.
-Seamless underwear in nude or light neutral tones
-Age-appropriate bra or training bra (if applicable)
-Simple bralette without logos or embellishments
The goal is smooth, distraction-free layers that allow the clothing to be the focus.
Camisoles & Slips
A simple nude, ivory, or soft blush camisole can be very helpful under lightweight dresses or knit tops.
If your daughter is wearing a dress, consider bringing:
-A neutral full slip
-Or a half-slip for lighter fabrics
These layers prevent transparency and help garments drape beautifully.
